Nadine Uremovic
Strategic Design Principal
Nadine aims to bridge the gap between futures thinking, situational conditions and practical sustainability. When it comes to ‘doing design’, Nadine believes there’s always an interplay between what’s fixed and what’s flexible. At the end of the day, design is about the design choices we make today and its impact tomorrow.
With a background in shaping engagement, communications and activations, Nadine has over 25 years of experience working via onside arrangements, primarily with peak bodies and local governments, enacting a range of strategic design practices. These might include human-centric design, experience design, design thinking.
Nadine creates space to explore how principles, ethics and aesthetics, different schools of thought and other factors interact as design informers. Lately, she’s been thinking about design-driven governance (particularly in the context of AI-tech) and ‘simplexity’ (how complexity is translated for better shared understanding).

Nadine qualified as a Yoga Teacher in 2007 and as a Yoga Therapist in 2016. She regularly teaches therapeutic yoga for women at her One Yoga studio. For local matters, Nadine represents a community action group and updates members via a Facebook page.
